Our new purpose built Municipal solution is designed to help cities and private haulers to modernize and efficiently automate their service delivery capabilities while meeting  the rising service expectations of residents and delivering on sustainability. New trader centric automation empowers recycling traders with enhanced insights and tools to trade smarter with greater efficiency. Enhanced AI powered, and data driven transport automation continue to drive greater fleet efficiency and safety.

Theme 1: Delivering sustainable cities and communities with the new AMCS Platform for Municipalities

The AMCS Platform for Municipalities streamlines operations for waste and recycling services through automation and digitization, enhancing operational efficiency, customer service, and sustainability.

The solution can be viewed in three discrete but connected areas (Service Definition/Onboarding, Service Delivery (Logistics) and Service Management, with the Spring Release focusing on delivering functionality in the first two areas.

The solution offers integrated transport modules specifically designed for municipal and residential operations to automate the planning, optimization, and execution of all collection routes.

Master Route Management - The Master Route Management Module (MRM) enables planning and sequencing of recurring collection routes, with fixed sequence order and frequency, for efficient operations.

Rostering - A new resource management calendar that enables planners to record and track staff and vehicle availability.

Tracking - The system enables real-time tracking of vehicles, including current location, planned and actual route, progress against estimated times, and instant alerts for exceptions such as delays or speeding.

Vision AI users now can access a new Camera safety module where they can remotely view live video streams from any vehicle and in addition have ability to view recorded safety events and associated video recordings from the on-vehicle cameras on that vehicle.

Data driven Enhancements to support automated Fleet Maintenance

Our enhanced telematics data usage now supports automated fleet maintenance scheduling, allowing for both preventive and predictive maintenance. This early detection feature minimizes breakdown risks, resulting in lower costs. Ultimately, our approach enhances customer service, overall safety, and further reduces reliance on manual data recording by drivers for a fully automated eDVIR process.

Enhanced Automated Inventory (Parts) Management

New automation of inventory (parts) management is designed to ensure that Fleet Managers have accurate inventory parts data, thus avoiding overstocking or understocking parts, leading to cost savings as parts inventory can sometimes tie up excessive cash. The solution includes a new cycle counting solution.

Improved Safety Automation – Re-Torquing of Lugs post Wheel Removal

A new safety feature automatically creates a follow-up action to check lugs after any work order on AMCS Fleet Maintenance that involved wheel removal.

We’re tracking everything. Our PM (preventive maintenance) schedules for each individual asset, who reported what problems and when, how much equipment we need for any given flight, and a lot more. It’s all helping us make huge improvements to our day-to-day operations.

This release places the needs of the recycling commodity trader at the center of new automation processes designed to support smarter trading, which is more intuitive and efficient.

This concept of trader centric design empowers the trader in the key tasks of order management and fulfilment, and it will increase trading margin, reduce administration time, and accelerate the   order to cash process by allowing the rapid identification and resolution of any points of delay on order fulfilment and invoicing.

  1. Inactive Rental Enhancements: Increase revenue with flexibility to configure rental charges for inactive, larger containers (e.g., Roll-Off). Suitable for both short term and seasonal hire, this feature incentivizes proper service activity to maximize margins.
  2. Duty of Care on Customer Portal: We've automated the Duty of Care process in line with UK regulations. Delivery, creation, and acceptance of obligatory documents are now simplified, reducing labour, and increasing compliance.
  3. New End of Day Payments Reconciliation (AR): A new report to reconcile received payments daily is now available, supporting more efficient financial management.
  4. Price Override Tolerance at Scale: Authorized users can change material purchase prices at the scale within a tolerance level. An email alert to the supervisor ensures appropriate oversight.
  5. Secondary Pricing Charging: Extend secondary charges to specific collection jobs, transparently included on invoices linked to job and service dates. This provides additional revenue and reduces invoicing queries, putting you in control.
