The global waste and recovery industry is estimated to be worth in excess of €10bn and AMCS’ solutions are managing over €3bn worth of transactions annually, over 14,000 vehicles and in excess of 3,000 sites across Europe, the US and elsewhere.


We currently have a requirement for a UX Designer to join our Limerick HQ office.


In this role, the successful candidate will:


  • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders and developers to understand the product requirements and create design specifications for new product development. Application software WEB UI skills essential
  • Ensure consistent user experience across the application by aiding in creation of digital libraries and collaborating with the developers
  • Working in an agile environment , should be able to understand the priorities, estimate and deliver the work on time
  • Candidate should have expert use in a design tool such as sketch, axure or omnigraffle
  • Should be able to come up with proto-types / screen mock-ups using tools like in-vision ,that could be feed into development 
  • Should know how to do conceptualization. Personas, storyboarding, user interviewing
  • Experience designing application screens for browsers is essential


  • The successful candidate will join a full stack Development team who are responsible for developing, implementing and supporting Working experience of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, Angular, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or NodeJS
  • Professional experience working with HTML5/XHTML, CSS3, Object Oriented Programming, XML/JSON, AJAX
  • Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Ability to use Bootstrap or other UI frameworks
  • Experience using version control systems such GIT,TFS , SVN, BitBucket ( any one atleast)
  • Responsive Web Design and Mobile Web Development
  • Understanding of modern Front end web architecture
